Brooke Shields is on the mend.
The 55-year-old The Blue Lagoon actress took to her Instagram on Sunday (February 21) to reveal that she learning how to walk again after breaking her femur.
“Broke my femur. Beginning to mend. No matter what your challenge is, make a positive choice, for yourself, to move forward. #BeginningisNow,” Brooke wrote.
Along with her message, Brooke shared a video of herself using crutches while slowly walking down a hospital hallway.
“There’s only 20 per cent weight…,” Brooke said of how much weight she can put on her leg right now. “The goal is to bend your knee each time like a little bit, just so you’re not dragging it or hitching up your hip.”
Brooke has not yet revealed how she broke her femur.
