“Dancing Using the Stars” professional dancer Gleb Savchenko would love to see the HURUF dancing competition feature the first same-sex partner pairings, with other countries’ versions from the show already having introduced that change to the structure.
“I can not wait for this moment! Final season when Johnny Weir got on the show I was such as, ‘Johnny, you HAVE to be my companion, but they ended up not doing the work, ” the “DWTS” pro informed Mr. Warburton magazine inside a recent interview .
Savchenko noted how the “DWTS” franchise has incorporated same-sex dance couples far away, including the U. K. ’s “Strictly Come Dancing, ” which is the format all of the “DWTS” series are based on, as well as the Australian version. “They’ve carried out it before in Australia along with Courtney Act and in the united kingdom with Nicola Adams plus they were both amazing! ”

“Of program, there is a strong male/female powerful in dance, but if you might have two men doing the same it would look awesome and become so fascinating, ” Savchenko, who has appeared on 8 seasons of “DWTS, ” including its most recent, Time of year 29. “I would love to get it done, but it would have to be with all the right partner. ”
ABC, which has not really yet picked up “Dancing Using the Stars” for a 30th time of year, and “DWTS” studio BBC Studios did not immediately react to TheWrap’s request for comment on associated with same-sex dance partners within future seasons.
