Sen. Ted Cruz lashed out Wednesday at the neighbors who leaked out his wife’s group conversation texts about the family’s visit to Cancun while amid the severe snowstorm that still left millions of Texans had simply no power, heat or drinking water.
“It’s an indicator of how ridiculously politicized plus nasty and just… Here is a suggestion: Just don’t be assholes. Just treat each other since human beings. Have some degree, several modicum of respect, ” Cruz said on the “Ruthless” podcast.
A week ago, photos of a man who have appeared to be Cruz boarding the flight to Cancun as being a severe snowstorm hit Tx. The man in the photos has been eventually confirmed to be Cruz, exactly who took a flight to the United States and said inside a statement that he had simply gone down to Mexico in order to escort his young children on a trip they wanted to carry on. Shortly thereafter, texts through Cruz’s wife Heidi Jones to a neighborhood group talk were leaked to the push, contradicting his statement. “I can say Heidi’s pretty pissed at that, ” Jones said on the podcast from the leak. “She actually has been over to a neighbor’s home yesterday, sort of walking via. ”
